Curbside Pick-Up Services For Residential
The Street and Sanitation dept. will pick-up the following.
* Household Trash: Must be in bags weighing no more than thirty pounds.
* Brush: Must be no more the five inches in diameter and four feet in length.
* Appliances: Doors must be removed due to safety concerns.
* Scrap Metal: Most any metal will be accepted.
* Scrap Lumber: Most all scrap lumber.
* Leaves: From November 1st to March 31st leaves will be removed by a vacuum and must be curbside also.
** ALL MATERIALS MUST BE PLACED CURBSIDE. PLEASE DO NOT MIX TRASH BAGS, LEAVES, BRUSH OR ANY OTHER ITEM. ** ALL OF THESE HAVE TO BE PICKED UP SEPARATELY.
* Paint Cans: Paint must be removed and cans completely dry.
* Used Oil: There is a used oil container located at (270 E. Jones Ave.) the city maintenance dept. to dispose of used oil.
*** Recycling program: The recycling truck picks up weekly on Thursday, attached is the items accepted in the recycling bin. You may put all your recyclable's in the container provided. The recycling bins and oil collection containers are provided at no charge to city residents.
** Items not accepted: Tires, batteries, shingles and crossties.

Office hours are : 7:00 am-3:30 pm Monday through Friday.
Note: Any contractor hired to cut or remove trees, limbs or brush must be removed by the contractor.
Commercial Trash Pick-Up
There are three classifications for business pick-up:
Code 2: Two pick ups per week - usually Tuesday and Thursday unless customer requests different pick up days.
Code 3: Three pick ups per week- Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Code 4: Five days per week- Monday through Friday.
*** Any items to be picked up other than bagged trash must have an appointment.
